I didn’t expect to witness the slow, painful death of my home country in my lifetime. But then, I didn’t expect my fellow country-folk to be stupid enough to elect someone like Trump as a president. Shame on me for giving them the benefit of doubt.

I’m numb. I have been going through the motions of my daily workplace bullshit, but in truth, I’m overcome with despair. The Supreme Court of the United States is officially corrupt. They’ve been bought and paid for by nefarious entities — and they have, for all intents and purposes, stated that anything Trump did while he was pretending to be president is immune from any federal criminal charge.

However…

That also means that anything any other president did (or does in the future) whilst in office is also immune, as long as it’s an “official presidential action.” Apparently they didn’t think this one through. Or else, they figured by the time it becomes an issue with another POTUS, they’ll be dead and gone after enjoying their ill-gotten riches into their dotage.

Vote. As if our country’s very survival depends on it.

Because it does.
